APPLETON (NBC 26) -- The Appleton Health Department says there are two more people who tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 10 as of Saturday morning.

According to the department, both people live in Outagamie County and caught the virus through community spread. They say both people are in isolation.

The health department is conducting contact investigations to identify and follow-up with any people who had close contact with either person. People who had close interactions with either person will be contacted and asked to monitor themselves for coronavirus symptoms.

While the number of positive cases continue to rise, the Appleton Health Department says we can assume there are still more cases in the city that have not yet been confirmed. They are asking everyone to follow the 'Safer at Home' emergency order.
