Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach has refused to sign the 2017 budget.
Streckenbach vetoed additional raises for some county employees that had been added to the budget.
The board will meet on Monday, November 14 to discuss the vetoes and may try to override Streckenbach's decision. The board needs a two-thirds majority vote to successfully override.
NBC26 spoke with county board member Tom Sieber who said that an override is unlikely.
If the veto override is unsuccessful, the budget as vetoed will be implemented.
