Brown County leaders have asked for public input in the development of a Master Plan for the Brown County Fairgrounds.

The feedback will help shape the future of the fairgrounds, leaders said.

“One of the most important components of the Master Plan is assessing what the needs of our community are, and public participation will assist in aligning the fairgrounds property with future needs,” said Matt Kriese, Brown County Parks Director, in a press release.

Brown County and a group of community stakeholders are working with Rettler Corporation to develop the plan.

They have put together an online survey so people can share what they would like to see on the property.

The goal of the plan is to "maximize the property use and value for everyone that visits," leaders explained.

“This will provide our residents the chance to play a vital role in choosing how to improve their quality of life,” said County Executive Troy Streckenbach in a press release. “In order for Brown County to compete for residents and visitors, making the most out of this community asset is of utmost importance.”
