A 53-year-old Green Bay man has been arrested for an assault on a female bartender in October, the Green Bay Police Department said Tuesday.
Around 3:30 a.m. on October 14, a female bartender was locking the doors to Jekyll and Hyde Bar on S. Broadway Street when she was viciously assaulted in the parking lot, police said. She suffered severe head injuries and had to be hospitalized.
After analyzing surveillance video, officers were able to identify a vehicle which led them to the 53-year-old Green Bay man.
Authorities said forensic evidence also connected the man to the crime. He is currently in jail on a probation hold with pending charges related to the case. NBC26 is choosing not to name him until he's been charged.
A GoFundMe has been set up for the victim. You can donate here.
