Downtown Appleton is glistening tonight like a winter wonderland.
Ice sculptures for the Avenue of Ice festival line the streets. Along with winter themed sculptures on-lookers could enjoy food from eight different local food trucks, horse-drawn wagon rides, music, games and even visits with Santa and his reindeer.
"The community really loves this event thought it's still in its infancy we've heard from several people that this really puts them in the holiday spirit," said Appleton Downtown Inc. executive director, Jennifer Stephany.
There are at least 30 different ice sculptures that are part of this event. This is the third year for the Avenue of Ice.
