WGBA-TV OFFICIAL “LAST COMIC STANDING CONTEST” CONTEST RULES STARTING May 22nd , 2008 1. HOW TO PLAY: No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Contest begins May 22nd. Watch NBC26 Live at 10:00. Look for the punch-line keywords. Then Log on to NBC26.com, go to the contest page, click on “Last Comic Standing” contest link, and fill out the registration form with that keyword. An NBC26 representative will randomly pick a winner and will contact the winner by phone and let them know they have won 2 tickets to “Last Comic Standing” show, November 8th at the Meyer Theater. 2. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of Wisconsin and Michigan. All winners must be 18 years of age or older to participate. To claim your prize, from Monday through Friday during the contest, you must present 2 pieces of ID at the offices of NBC26, 1391 North Road from 8am to 5pm…normal business hours. One must be a legal Drivers License or other “official” type of ID issued by a government agency. This piece of ID must include a picture photo of yourself and your birth date. An alternative could be a Birth Certificate if you also have another acceptable form of ID that includes your picture. If you fail to produce proper identification, your prize will be forfeited. Employees of WGBA-TV, Journal Broadcast Group, our sponsor, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone involved in this contest production, development or handling, and immediate families/household members of anyone so employed are not eligible. Winners will have 30 normal business days from the time their name is announced, to claim their prize. If the winner does not pick up their tickets after 30 normal business days, their winnings will be voided. 3. PRIZES and ODDS: 2 tickets to the Last Comic Standing Show, November 8th at the Meyer Theater in Green Bay will be awarded to one person who has registered their name and information on NBC26.com. and picked by WGBA personnel. One winner with proper identification will win. No substitution or transfer of prizes are permitted except as required by law. Prizes are not transferable. Odds of winning are dependant upon the number of entries. 4. WINNER SELECTION: WGBA personnel will pick 1 winner each week, who has registered for the “Last Comic Standing” contest on NBC26.COM. The winner who claims to be over 18 and a Wisconsin/Michigan resident will be the “unofficial” winner. This person will be announced on NBC26 Today between 6am-7am, and also notified by phone once they are selected. This person is not the “official” winner until proper ID is validated by WGBA-TV. The winners will be old when to come in to fill out tax forms and pick up their tickets. 5. CONDITIONS: By entering and becoming a winner, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless WGBA-TV, Journal Broadcast Group, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, licensees and assigns, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims, injuries, liabilities and damages arising from or relating to his or her participation in the contest and/or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. By entering this contest, each participant grants permission to WGBA-TV, to photograph, use their likeness, voice, prize information and/or biographical information (city and state only) for programming, publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. If the Last Comic Standing Show on NBC is cancelled in mid season, the contest will end. 6. OTHER: If for any reason a prize is not claimed or winner is disqualified, the prize will be forfeited. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, includingtampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, WGBA-TVand it’s sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, and/orsuspend the contest and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these official rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decision of the sponsors and the judges, which shall be final in all respects. Any non-compliance with rules or conditions will result in disqualification. Entries cannot win if they have won a contest on WGBA or WACY within the last 60 days. 7.
