The Pittsburg Steelers have been at the fore front of the two point conversion movement ever since the NFL backed up extra point kicks.  They went 8 of 11 last year when looking for 2 and now Ben Roethlisberger want's to go for it even more often because quote "why not."  Drew Brees of the Saints is also advocating for more conversion attempts and today at Packers minicamp coach Mike McCarthy added this"

"Personally I definitely agree with Ben and Drew, especially with Aaron being our quarterback.  So i would have zero issue, as an offensive coach, going for it every single time.'

Well hallelujah!!!!!!!!!  We might get a little more excitement around here this year than previously anticipated.   Going for two is the smart play, or at least it is if you have a competent quarterback.  Aaron "the dragon" Rodgers is a competent quarterback.   Of course fans will love going for two when it works and they will call for Mike McCarthy's job when it doesn't.  Here is what I think, if you have an option, backed up by the numbers, and skewed in the offenses favor due to an elite talent under center, you've got to agree with Big Ben and say "why not?"
