According to ESPN, defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois was released by the Packers Tuesday.

The 30-year-old LSU product was entering his ninth season in the NFL. Jean Francois played in all four preseason games for the Packers as well as Sunday's win against the Seahawks. He recorded two tackles in the first two preseason contests.
He had agreed to a one-year, $2 million deal with the Packers back in March.
Through the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he notched 57 total tackles and 3.5 sacks.
