The Green Bay Packers have released punter Jacob Schum. Ted Thompson. Executive Vice President, General Manager, and Director of Football Operations made the announcement on Thursday.
Schum played in all 16 games and three postseason contests for the Packers last season after being claimed off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in August 2016.
During the 2016 regular season, he registered a 43.2 yard gross average and a net average of 39.1 yards on 56 punts with 19 landing inside the 20.
