On June 18, the U.S. Open will crown a new champion at Erin Hills Golf Course just northwest of Milwaukee. On Wednesday, pro's of a different sport were taking a swing at the course.

Green Bay Packer players Jordy Nelson, Mason Crosby, Bryan Bulaga and Don Barclay were all invited to battle the tour-manicured links and check out the famous U.S. Open trophy.

A professional in football, wide receiver Jordy Nelson happily admits he's an amateur of golf.

"We will be playing some sort of game, and unfortunately I will probably be paying out," Nelson said. "You shouldn't bet when you're not very good, but it makes it more interesting."

The U.S. Open tees off with the first round on June 15, 2017.
