The Green Bay Packers have signed rookie safety Josh Jones, the team announced Friday.
The Packers drafted Jones in the second round of the NFL Draft with the 61st overall pick.
Jones is a versatile safety who the Packers plan to use in various roles. The 6'1", 220 pound defensive back ran a 4.41 in the 40 at the NFL Combine, the second best time for his position.
He played for NC State and is originally from Michigan.
