Green Bay native selected by Coyotes in NHL Draft

Michael Karow become just the fiourth Green Bay native in history drafted to the NHL on Saturday. He was selected 126th overall by the Arizona Coyotes.

Karow is a defenseman who played for Notre Dame Academy in high school. He played in the USHL last season for the Youngstown Phantoms. Karow will continue his hockey career next year at Boston College.

No player from Green Bay has ever played in the NHL, though De Pere native Max McCormick currently plays for the Ottawa Senators,
