Undefeated (28-0) Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran took down Drummond in the Division 5 state semi-final game 62-59. Nathan Claflin led a balanced scoring attack for the N.E.W. Blazers with 14 points. Blazers guard Travis Voight sent a pass to Nathan Toenjes for the score and the foul to take the led 61-59 with four seconds. Toenjes hit the free throw for the three point play. He then intercepted the Drummond inbound pass to seal the win. N.E.W. Lutheran will face Randolph (26-2) for the Division 5 State title on Saturday, March 9 at 11:05 a.m. The game will be televised on our sister station My New 32 (WACY) and streaming online. Randolph defeated Elmwood (23-5) 46-37.
