The NEW Zoo and Adventure Park has started its annual Halloween celebration, Zoo Boo!
Kids get the chance to ride on a haunted hay ride, find their way through a maze and explore the "freaky forest."
Children under 16 also dressed in costume and went trick-or-treating through the live swamp.
"We have a lot of families that have come historically for years and years, even people that came as children are now bringing their children, because this is an event that we've done for a couple of decades," said Patricia Jelen, NEW Zoo operations manager. "So families know it's a safe alternative to trick-or=treating in neighborhoods, and we've got a lot of fun events good for adults and for kids."
If you missed the Zoo Boo event on Friday the 13th, don't worry. You can participate on October 20, 21, 27 or 28.
