A 41-year-old woman has died and two children were sent to the hospital after a crash in the Town of Herman in Shawano County. Officers said a man crossed the median on STH 29 and hit the woman's car just before 11 a.m. Thursday.
TOWN OF HERMAN, Wis. - A two-car crash in Shawano County Thursday left a woman dead and sent two children to the hospital.
The Shawano County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash on STH 29 near the intersection of Rangeline Road in the Town of Herman just before 11 a.m.
Investigators said a 31-year-old Shawano man driving a Ford Focus crossed the median and struck a Saturn traveling the opposite way, driven by a 41-year-old Appleton woman.
The woman died and two children in her car are being treated at area hospitals.
The crash is being investigated by the Shawano County Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
