Expansion at the Arnie Wolff Sports Complex means more fields for the fifth year of Fly A Kite Fest presented by BayCare Clinic will have more room for more kites and activities.
The event will be held on Saturday June 24, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Arnie Wolff Sports Complex, 3240 Humboldt Rd.
The all-ages event will have a variety of family- friendly activities including giant show kites, precision stunt kite demonstrations, running of the bols, activities for children, kid’s kite decorating, and candy drops. All events happen on kite time, which is dependent on mother nature. Based on wind conditions there will be different kites in the air for attendees to enjoy.
Fly A Kite Fest is a free kiting event for everyone to enjoy. Proceeds from t-shirt, raffle and concession sales will benefit healthy child development programs at Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W.
