UPDATE: A 50-year-old teacher's aide with the West De Pere School District was charged with a felony count of child enticement-sexual contact on Monday.
According to a criminal complaint, police investigated Shelly Jensen after a report her children had seen her in bed with a 17-year-old West De Pere High School student.
Jensen's adult daughter told police that she saw Jensen and the teenage boy "cuddling and or spooning" in her bed.
While being interviewed by police, the boy admitted to having intercourse with Jensen. Jensen denies having sex with the teenager.
Jensen knew the boy because she tutored him while working at the West De Pere High School.
According to Court Records Jensen has been released on a $25,000 signature bond.

RE: Shelly Jensen,
Friday afternoon, the District was made aware of the arrest of Ms. Shelly Jensen an instructional aid employed by the district, by the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department. At this time we are waiting for the Brown County District Attorney to make charging decisions regarding Ms. Jensen. We will closely monitor the situation and have established lines of communication with local law enforcement.
Ms. Jensen has been placed on administrative leave until further notice.
Our district is filled with many talented dedicated teachers and staff members who perform in the most ethical and admirable way each and every day. Allegations concerning the actions of a staff member while away from work does nothing to sway us from our mission and duty of educating every child to the best of our ability.
