The faculty and staff at Valders High School are preparing for the unthinkable Friday.
Employees will participate in an active shooter exercise with 30 local EMS agenices.
Wilson and Schumer Streets will be partially closed during the exercise.
Planners hope to have it completed by 5 p.m.
