Wisconsin is doing it's job in fighting the Zika virus. University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers will infect monkeys with the Zika virus to study how long it stays in their bloodstream among other things. The research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, which is funding Zika related research at universities around the nation. The Zika virus has been connected with causing birth defects.
