A Go Fund Me page set up to help the Maki Family with the financial expense of recovering from a tragic house fire announced the death of a 3rd child.

"It is with a heavy heart I have to share that Ben is no longer with us," and update showed. "Please keep your thoughts with the family." Ben, age 9 had been hospitalized since the Tuesday night fire. 11-year-old Natalie and her 7-year-old brother Carter were also killed.

Their Uncle, Ryan Passini say that Natalie was home watching her three siblings while their parents attended bible study. That’s when the fire broke out.

Natalie and her sister Jenna got out. As Jenna ran barefoot in the snow to a neighbors for help, Natalie went back inside to try to save her brothers. A vigil was held Wednesday at the family’s church to remember the children.

Thursday, people visiting the Maki's home to pay respects to the children lost.

"I still can't wrap my head around it, I'm still in shock," said Judy Jackson of Sheboygan.  Jackson and her family attend the same church as the Maki's and their children played together.

"We're doing everything we can to support them and help them and whatever it's going to take, everybody's willing and able to jump in and help," said Jackson.

That support is being felt in more places than on as donations pour in at the local Piggly Wiggly in Sheboygan Falls for the family.

"At last count we had probably $500 in there and that was from just this morning," said Piggly Wiggly store manager, Sam Kohlhagen.

Donations are also being accepted at Northwestern Mutual, 407 E. Mill St. in Plymouth and of course on the family's Go Fund Me page.
