GREEN BAY, WI -- The future of 15 proposals in Green Bay hoping to receive a slice of funding from excess stadium sales taxes will have to wait until November 9th.

In an unexpected twist Tuesday night, the city Finance Committee decided to table a vote on the 15 funding requests because one proposal seems to have been overlooked.

According to committee leaders, 27 groups were thought to have submitted proposals until a 28th was discovered Tuesday morning in the city's spam mail.

Alderpeople say the 15 projects selected by a subcommittee earlier this month to move forward would boost revenue and job growth in Green Bay. Proposals include a request for $150,000 to turn the city's old armory into an indoor farm.

"People put a lot of effort into these proposals, and.. I think we need to honor that effort," says District 1 Alderwoman Barbara Dorff, "and we need to fairly look at everything that was submitted. It just wouldn't be fair not to."

Dorff says the subcommittee will now include the newly discovered proposal in another examination of the 28 proposals, tentatively on November 9th.

The results of that meeting will then go back to the Finance Committee, and eventually the Full Council.
