The internationally known Spartan race took place for the first time at Lambeau field. The organization partnered with Special Olympics Wisconsin, and Lambeau field to hold the race. Three events were set up on the field a spartan sprint which is three miles with 20 obstacles, the Spartan kids races, for ages 4 through 12, and a special spartans heat, For young athletes with developmental disabilities.

This event took a year to prepare, with not only building the obstacle course for people to see but also challenging enough for the athletes. Organizers say they're thrilled to be at Lambeau.
