Green Bay's West Side Riverfront could be getting a face-lift soon.

On Tuesday night, The City Council agreed to come up with a management agreement contract for the "Shipyard Project".

The project would include building a baseball stadium, an indoor concert venue, and improvements to waterfront boat docks.

The area for the project is just north of Mason Street, from Broadway to the Fox River.

Before the plans are finalized though, some city officials say there is still a lot of details to hammer out.

"I think we can still have open discussions about how to pay for all of this but its pretty obvious that the staff was not prepared about a lot of things," said District Nine Alderman Guy Zima. "They didnt have a lot of answers to things but the mayor wants to push this through."

The project is expected to cost about $11 million to complete. The plan to pay for the project is to re-coup money by charging a lease for the stadium and by sparking new tax revenue in the surrounding area.
