WPS and We Energies crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers across NE Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan. As of 8:30 AM Sunday more than 7,000 We energies customers were without power west of Green Bay, Southern Wisconsin through Milwaukee and in the U.P.

Wisconsin Public Services reports nearly 1,600 were in the dark after the storms passed but that number is down to about 570 as of 8:30 AM. The outages are centered near Wausau and across Oconto and Marinette Counties.
WPS crews made great progress restoring power to customers in Northern WI overnight. Full restoration expected late morning.
