Counterfeit bills are being reported in the City of Manitowoc.
Manitowoc Police say that in the past 36 hours, the department has received five complaints of counterfeit $20.00 bills being passed at five different fast food restaurants.
The bills all had either serial numbers ML71671357C or ME56183269A.
All were bills from 2014.
One of the businesses reporting the bills says the person who passed the bill was a black male, driving a white 2017 Chevrolet four door vehicle. The registration plate was from Illinois.
Police say that Sheboygan also experienced a similar incident at one of their fast food restaurants, but its not know at this time, if it was the same suspect involved.
