An eight-year-old with a big heart got the chance of a lifetime at the Packers preseason game on August 10.

Ethan Engum was front and center at Lambeau Field as the Packers took on the Eagles, running to get the tee from the initial kick-off.

"I'm hoping to meet Aaron Rodgers," he said.

Ethan was Shopko's Kick-Off Kid, which is part of the "Kids Making a Difference" campaign.

Ethan raised $12,000 through a GoFundMe page to help the Green Bay Police Department get a K-9 officer named Echo.

His mom Becky said it was an idea he got all on his own.

"He wasn't sure he'd make his goal, but he's proved to us all he can do great things," she said.

And Ethan has some advice for others hoping to make a difference.

"I'd say it's very easy, and if you try it will work out good," he said.
