Oshkosh Police investige 'shots fired' complaint

The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a weapons complaint in the 1600 block of Oregon Street at 2:35 a.m. Sunday. The original report to police was of shots fired in the area.

When Oshkosh Police arrived, they located several shell casings. The area was checked and other than the original report of shots fired; and a few patrons of a local tavern hearing it, no other information was available. There were no injuries or damage reported. The investigation continues.

Oshkosh Police are asking anyone with information in regards to the weapons complaint to contact Detective April Hinke at 920-236-5703.
