Delaware North hosted about 75 nonprofit organizations at Lambeau Field Monday for them to learn about fundraising opportunities this season at Lambeau's concession stands.

The open house featured an informational meeting outlining the requirements of fundraising groups at the stadium, explaining what it's like for their nonprofit to volunteer at a Packers game.

Last year, 77 nonprofit groups staffed Lambeau Field's concession stands, each earning a percentage of their stands net sales.

"In 2016, we donated over $1.2 million to about 80, 85 groups in the area. It helps with their fundraising efforts," said Eric Samson, director of operations for Delaware North at Lambeau. "Instead of having to do a car wash, a bake sale, it's an opportunity for them to come for ten games and really achieve all their fundraising goals for the season."

Delaware North is hoping to raise even more money for the community this season, with a goal of $1.5 million.
