No one was hurt during an early morning fire in the village of Bellevue on Saturday.

Fire crews were called to a home in the 3100 block of Warm Springs Drive at 2:15 a.m.

Chief Jack Mlnarik with Bellevue Fire and Rescue says fire was coming out of the chimney of the home and when firefighters began to make entry, they heard a loud explosion and backed away.

Fire quickly consumed the entire roof of the home.

According to officials, it took about 90 minutes to get the fire under control because of a combination of severe weather and fire conditions.

The Brown County Fire Investigation team is still determining the cause of the fire. There is a lot of damage to the home and its contents.

No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians.

Bellevue Fire and Rescue was assisted by departments from De Pere, Green Bay, Ashwaubenon, Ledgeview, Lawrence, New Franken, Denmark and County Rescue.
