A new Marquette University Law School poll released Thursday shows Donald Trump on top for the Republicans and a tight race for the Democrats in Wisconsin's presidential primary.

In the survey, Democrat Bernie Sanders got 44% percent support to Hillary Clinton's 43%. The margin of error is +/-6.9%.

On the Republican side, the poll shows Donald Trump maintaining his lead in Wisconsin with 30% support. Marco Rubio got 20%, Ted Cruz received 19%, while John Kasich and Ben Carson each got 8% percent support.

Governor Scott Walker, who dropped out of the presidential race last year, believes Trump will be hard to stop if he wins Super Tuesday.

"Somebody whose won three out of the first four states and looks to be ahead in just about every other state seems to be fairly likely to be the nominee. But again, weirder things have happened this year," said Walker.
