GREEN BAY - The Bay Area Humane Society is 'expecting' an influx of kittens this spring, so along with students from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay they're hosting a 'Kitty Shower' Friday.
The shower will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bay Area Humane Society at 1830 Radisson Street in Green Bay.
There will be lots of family friendly activities for guests to enjoy such as cat whickers face painting, raffles, kitten viewing, treats, refreshments, games and prizes.
Organizers say they hope the community shows support by bringing donated items as gifts to the shower, such as kitten formula(KMR brand), kitten scales, warming pads(Snugglesafe brand), blankets, toys and non-clumping cat litter otherwise monetary donations are also accepted.
A donated item is not required to attend.
