Firefighters are trying to determine if anyone was home during an early morning house fire in Brown County.

Pulaski Fire Chief James Styczymski tells NBC26 that right now crews are investigating who lived at the home on Tamarack Drive in the Town of Pittsfield.

Chief Styczymski says they are working to contact relatives at this time. The people they have gotten in touch with are also trying to contact the family of the home.

A neighbor called in the fire around 1 a.m. Friday.

When crews arrived the home was completely engulfed in flames.

Seven fire departments were called in to help and the fire was knocked down within 30 minutes.

Chief Styczymski says the cause of the fire is not known at this time.

The Brown County Investigation Unit is on scene taking over the investigation. They are expected to be on scene throughout the morning.
