OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- Miss Green Bay Area Courtney Pelot has been crowned Miss Wisconsin.

Pelot, who danced to "Pretty Hurts" for her talent, will represent the state at the Miss America competition in September in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

She had competed in local pageants for two years but this was her first try in the state competition.

"I can't believe I won the state title and am going to Miss America," she said.

First runner-up was Miss Great Lakes Madeline Kumm; second runner-up Miss St. Francis Gina Miliacca; third runner-up Miss Madison-Capital City Sarah Newton; and fourth runner-up Miss Harbor Cities Tianna Vanderhei.
