MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Police in Milwaukee are investigating a couple of shootings that resulted in non-life threatening injuries.

The first occurred about 9 p.m. Saturday near 35th and Center streets when a 21-year-old man got into a verbal argument with another person. The suspect armed himself with a gun and shot the victim, who drove himself to a local hospital.

The second happened about 1 a.m. Sunday when a man was walking in the area of West Courtland Avenue and heard gunshots. The man realized he was shot and got a ride to a local hospital for treatment.

Police say they're continuing to search for suspects in both cases.
