Millennial voters could be a deciding demographic in this year's presidential election, but many still don't know who they're voting for in the race.

At St. Norbert College in De Pere and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, many students are voting in a presidential election for the first time.

"As a first time voter for a presidential election, it's kind of an unexpected political environment," said Matthew Matuszak, a junior at St. Norbert.

Because of that environment, many young voters don't know who they'll choose at the polls on Tuesday.

"I am leaning more one way than the other, but still actually undecided," Matuszak said.

The millennial vote is a coveted one that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton can't seem to grab. Many say they're tired of this year's negative campaigns, which seem to be worse than usual.

"They don't focus on their own campaigns, they focus on ruining each other's," said Cathryn Siolka, a St. Norbert freshman.

Many first-time voters said they're not happy with their options for the Oval Office in the first election they can vote for president.

"I'm extremely disappointed by this because I was really excited and then I found out who our options were," said Tasha Dantoin, also a freshman at St. Norbert College.

Some students are even looking outside the traditional two party system for a potential candidate.

"I'm in the middle, I can't decide right now, and then I've got a lot of interesting things from Gary Johnson that I've heard that I've kind of like so I'm still a toss up," said Tanner Ross, a senior at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Although it's a new political landscape for many first time voters, nearly all of them said they're ready for Election Day to come and go.
