Military Avenue in Green Bay and village of Howard was closed this morning due to a garage fire. The street is now reopened.
According to the fire chief, the fire started at about 5 a.m. and the detached garage was fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene.
Two people were home at the time. No one was injured, but the fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage and the garage is a total loss. Some nearby homes had minimal damage from exposure.
