Menasha man dead from injuries sustained in train crash

A 28-year-old Menasha man has died as a result of injuries he sustained when he was hit by a train in Neenah Sunday evening.

The Winnebago County Coroner's Office and the Neenah Police Department said their thoughts and prayers are with the family as they grieve this loss.

Timothy C. Miller, 28, of Menasha, had been hospitalized at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah.

Neenah Police were dispatched to the 100 block of North Lake Street near the parking lot of Herb and Dolly Smith Park around 7:14 p.m. 

Miller was struck by a Canadian National train traveling southbound, police said.

A joint-investigation between Neenah, Fox Crossing and Canadian National Police has begun. Anyone with information about the collision or the events leading up to it is asked to contact the Neenah Police Department.
