A man accused of robbing six convenience stores in May and June of last year was sentenced in Winnebago County Court today. Phillip Thomas will serve 16 years in prison, followed by 6 years of supervised release. He pleaded no contest to three felony armed robbery charges at Fox Valley gas stations.
