Man pleads guilty to string of bank robberies

A Stevens Point man has pleads guilty to a role in several bank and credit union robberies in the state including Northeast Wisconsin.

39 year-old Jason Kiedrowski appeared in Federal Court in Green Bay to enter the plea.

The case involves seven cases. Robberies were reported by Fox Cities Communities Credit Union in Grand Chute; Hometown Bank in Fond du Lac; First National Bank in Appleton; and Unison Credit Union in De Pere. Other banks from Janesville and Eau Claire.

The charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and up to 3 years of supervised release.

Kiedrowski will be sentenced on November 14.
