A Keshena man was indicted in federal court Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman on the Menominee Indian Reservation in May.

Justin Schneider, 18, was charged with Aggravated Sexual Abuse and faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Schneider allegedly forced a woman to engage in a sexual act on May 15, 2017 while holding down the victim's arms and placing his hand on her chest, according to the indictment.

The Menominee Tribal Police Department and FBI investigated the case.
