On Thursday, May 18th 2017 at approximately 3: 19 PM, the Sheriff’s Office was notified of an incident at the Detention Center where one of the male inmates attempted to take his own life.
The inmate was eventually transferred to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee and is in critical condition at this time.
The Sheboygan Police Department was asked to complete the investigation which is active and on-going.
There will be no further information released by the Police Department or the Sheriff’s Office at this time.
