WI Forward Manufacturing Tour
MANITOWOC -- Governor Scott Walker made a stop in Manitowoc today as part of his Forward Manufacturing Tour.
He spent time on the floor at Scana Aluminum Company this afternoon. The tour is aimed at supporting what the Governor calls the "backbone" of Wisconsin.
"What we're doing to put more money into helping manufacturers like Scana grow, expand, and put more people to work with workforce development, with tax incentives, with other things that will help create more manufacturing jobs in the state of Wisconsin," Governor Walker said.
The tour continues tomorrow in Milwaukee.
