Pet Shelters Preparing For "The Season"
GREENVILLE-- As the weather warms up outside, area animal shelters are preparing for what they call "the season."
This time of the year animal shelters are bracing for an influx of cats into shelters that are already stretched thin. Shelter leaders saying they are preparing the facilities to ensure no pets are turned away. Shelter leaders say spaying and neutering pets is the best way to prevent shelters becoming overcrowded with unwanted animals.
