Green Bay, WI -- Things are going green in Green Bay. Mayor Jim Schmitt kicked off Saint Patrick's Day festivities Tuesday by turning Crooks Street downtown into O'Flatley Court. It's the corner where the fourth annual St. Patrick's Day parade will begin this weekend, and the city wants everyone to come out.

"We understand St. Patrick's Day. We ask everyone to drink responsibly, but the city with the effort we put into the downtown is very focused on making sure it's a family place," said Mayor Schmitt.

The parade starts at 10:30 Saturday morning. It begins at O'Flatley Court and Washington Street and will run to the main stage of the city deck.
