The Pulaski High School Boys Basketball team came back from Madison, Sunday after taking the Division 2 State Championship for the first time.  They beat Wisconsin Lutheran 48-40.

The team came home to a huge pep rally celebration at Pulaski High.  Friends, family and a huge part of the community were there to support the team.

Emotions ran high during the speeches, even the head coach Dave Shaw got choked up.  "The response that we got and to see the fans here representing Pulaski was very emotional," said Coach Shaw.

The team members were even treated like local celebrities, signing autographs for the youngsters.  "Hopefully this gives them motivation to work hard and do this when they're our age," said Brian FitzGerald, a junior on the team.

Despite the royal treatment the players say this couldn't have been possible without the community support they received and they are happy they could bring the trophy back home to Pulaski.
