Appleton, Wis. -- Appleton police and the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department joined forces Friday to take down a marijuana growing operation. 31-year-old Michael Arnoldussen was taken into custody after investigators found about 100 plants and a large amount of money at a home on the 1200 block of North Story Street. Arnoldussen may face harsher penalties if convicted because of the home's close proximity to three schools.
