Gov. Walker Will Sign Mining Bill Next Week
Governor Walker will sign the controversial mining bill into law next Monday. The governor plans to officially sign the bill at Oldenburg Group Incorporated, a mining equipment manufacturer in Rhinelander. Then he'll travel to Milwaukee to host a ceremonial signing. The Wisconsin Assembly passed the polarizing bill Thursday night after hours of debate, clearing the way for the governor's approval.
