STURGEON BAY-- A weekend warm up combined with rain will have an effect on the ice conditions in Northeast Wisconsin.

But ice experts say any damage, like cracks from the sun and rain could be healed overnight if it gets cold enough enough.

Fishing guide Dale Stroschein of Wacky Walleye's Guide Service says there are more than 20 inches of ice across the bays in Door County. The excellent ice conditions and colder winter have made the ice fishing business very profitable this year.  Stroschein predicts there will ice thick enough to fish well into April in some spots.
