Paup accepting a coaching position with Northern Iowa, where he played before being drafted by the Packers in the 6th round of the 1990 NFL draft. A source in the UNI Athletic Department tells NBC26 it's just a matter of dotting the I's and crossing the T's.
It's expected Paup will be a linebacker coach for the Panthers. He told his former team Monday in a meeting he would be leaving. Paup led the Trojans to back-to-back 10-win seasons in 2011 and 2012.
