KAUKAUNA -- Four pets were rescued today from a burning house in Kaukauna.
It happened around 2:30 this afternoon on Island Street. No one was home at the time, but three adults and three children who lived in the home were displaced and are being helped by the American Red Cross tonight.
Investigators say the cause of the fire was electrical. They also say that the age and construction of the home made battling the blaze more difficult.
